Description
English: Bronze round paizi (pass) of the Western Xia, with four Tangut characters (reading top-to-bottom right-to-left): 𗣆𘀄𘏨𘎧 [3277 (tshja), 4031 (gju̠), 5655 (ljɨ̣), 5156 (wa) in Li Fanwen's 2008 Tangut-Chinese dictionary]. This is the name of the holder of the paizi (a two-character family name followed by a two-character personal name). On display at the National Museum of China in Beijing. National cat. no. B52-003.
