In June, Mike Murphy, the GOP consultant who has guided the campaigns of John McCain, Mitt Romney, and Arnold Schwarzenegger, took over Jeb Bush’s super-PAC, Right to Rise USA. Partly, that’s meant the witty political commentator has gone silent. But in a new interview with Bloomberg Politics, he talks about many aspects of the 2016 election cycle, including the need to be “lawyered up” as a super-PAC to make sure there are no violations of FEC rules.
