UnLtd, a local Australian organisation, believes the media, marketing and creative industry have the potential to use financial and cultural influence to create significant positive change. We think they’re right, so we’ve joined them in the fight for a better future for young Australians.
A couple of weeks ago Publift hosted another one of our glorious rooftop summer barbeques, only this time we had a meaningful purpose behind it: to raise enough money to take part in the UnLtd. Big Kahuna surf competition on the 29th of March in Queenscliff Beach.

Tobin, Publift’s COO, reiterates why giving back is so important.Only the most daring of attendees took part in our famous “chilli challenge,” run by none other than Publift’s very own Naphaly and Adam. Did someone say Carolina Reaper? Other attendees tried a hand at the tradie favourite, “stump.” With two chances for the challenger to hit the single nail into the tree stump with a hammer, we saw several unexpected victories!

What is possibly the most noteworthy, however, is the remarkable number of baked goods each of our staff whipped up for the bake sale. From caramel slices and flourless chocolate cake to mini-cupcakes and flapjacks, it was nearly impossible to choose which treat to enjoy.
The “stump” game - participants laughing in the face of a challenge!We’re delighted to report we raised the majority of our $1,200 goal with your support and will be heading to Queenscliff for the big surf comp in March! As an added bonus, we’ll be running yoga sessions for willing participants.
